Barkley Dam

As part of a roof replacement project at Barkley Dam in Grand Rivers, Kentucky, Peak Fall Protection was contracted to provide design and turnkey installation of a fall protection anchorage system. Maintenance needs required that employees work adjacent to unprotected ends of the dam structure. Substantial concrete wall structure served as an ideal attachment point for wall mount fall protection anchors. Each wall anchor was installed and load tested by Peak Fall Protection trained technicians to confirm capacity. To minimize anchor locations while providing continuous access, PFP also installed horizontal lifelines designed to support access along the edge for work in travel restraint.
